Ok so here's the situation: I had a channel on Youtube back when I was SJD that got moderately successful and gained 700 subscribers thanks to some good people at Newgrounds and on Tumblr. But then I switched my name to Poniiboi.

Youtube doesn't allow you to switch URLs automatically, so I thought I would have to say good bye to those 700+ subs and all those video views. However, before giving up, I emailed Youtube. I had to stay on their asses for like 2 weeks, but they SWITCHED my URL for me!

My old channel is now my new channel with all of my subs and my old videos and mixes! I'm really happy about it.

Because it has to be similar styles so that the audience can have a viewpoint. If you do fucking electro and I do fucking trap or something, then there is no common ground. People will just vote based on what genre they like rather than the actual quality of the music.
