Facebook groups work fine. Usually using Facebook's wall people complain about it. That just means your friends are annoying on there. Use groups as a getaway. I got the old VGDC group and new members in my group. We all use it on the daily. Works great!

I got rid of my FB account after a year... it's all exposition, "Look at me!", and damn little else. Sounds like you had a nice time while they were here, where did you take them? As hosts, we're always obligated to show visitors the sites, right?
