I always like genre mixing. Those xylophones that come thru at like 1:50...they were xylophones right? Favorite part, then the speed up at 2:10 was awesome.

AeronMusic responds:

No they are marimbas ;) Thanks man!

I don't know who could give this less than a 5, but it is mature and sophisticated stuff. This deserves higher than the scoree I'm seeing. Incredible.

You are keeping me from doing my work right now with this Wu Tang like awesome. Dammit, Boullie.

BOULLIE responds:

It's all good man you know. >.> lol

Came for the title, and it ended up being cool. Sounds like something from toejam & earl.

HOLY SHIT DOWNLOADED!!!!

Now if everyone would just follow suite....

You are like Mister Do It Right...and you did it right...from the back...oh yeah...

I think the mixing on this is good this all has a lot of energy. However, it is a bit repetitive. If you are going for that Daft punk kind of feel, then this definitely works. But I would love to hear some variety in the melody along with the rhythm tracks.

This sounds really good without mastering your EQ, but why are you so averse to doing it? Dude, some of your other pieces that were mastered sounded incredible. I downloaded them and I'm able to play them on any system. I would love to hear this piece fully rendered.

TheZaaL responds:

Indeed, it would be interesting to hear it full quality :P It's on my todo list, but I'll rack up some more skills before revisiting it.

For my actual sound quality, it's okay. But if you add any standard EQ to it (like windows media player's dance preset EQ), It becomes muddy. Working on it!!

Thanks for your review-rush, I greatly appreciated!!!

This has a super dark feel that I really enjoy. Great progression on the piano as well. I get so tired of people who just think that one loop is a piece and this is an actual musically inclined progression.

TheZaaL responds:

True, but it's also a great escape when the inspiration take off toward some unknown direction.

Thanks a lot!

I actually don't like the clicky-this instrument, but what you did with the base and your low kick drums is definitely on point.

TheZaaL responds:

Now that you say it, and I listen to it again, I totally agree with you. It starts to irritate me!!

That kick right there is the first version of what became my favorite kick: I always start with those 2 kicks layered when building my kick!

Thanks!
