[[LSF] Calm Place]

Great first effort! Your musical ability is quite evident in your choice of melodies and synths. The song definitely gives the feel and mood of trance with slow progressions and a lulling tempo. I think the main thing to consider here is really just to play with your ability to make synths instead of using preprogrammed sounds, because that's really what separates awesome producers from just ok ones. Also play with the concept of countermelody to add some variety to the song after the main theme has played itself out. I am happy that you decided to drop this on the populace, and congratulations!

[Raging Out]

It's good to rage out sometimes. The mixing was incredible. Bassline thicky thick. I heard the changes that you made every 4 bars, but maybe like the guy below said, they weren't big enuff? Just barely, tho. Not a huge change needed here. I don't agree about the disonance with the pianos, they dont necessarily throw me off. I didn't dig the 1:47 mark sound as much, it was almost "inverted" melody to me. I got the 2:12 part much better. This is when I would have started dancing super hard, and I think you turned the tempo up here too slightly? If you didn't, it seems like u did and that's a GOOD thing. Ends well.
