[Making the Bass Bleed]

Good song, good melody line, creaetive use of voice, synths, my big thing is to get more separation between the vocals and the synths. Really dig into the EQ and carve out a place so the vocal comes thru.

I say to improve you have to lay back on the pitch corrector. Can't just apply the effect to the whole vocal track.

I'm not voting on this one, but the standout for me was the last 8 bars in flip point's 1st verse. That flow was just ridiculous. "Just because you open ya lips don't make it riiiight./Grab the victory can be tough - you'll need slippers." AAAAH! Sickness. Props all around.

Hmmm. Gas talked about Fats' quality, but I felt tinniness in Gas's mic quality. Then I got really annoyed at whoever picked that damn beat with the huge pause. Fats came with it in the first verse even though the beat broke down badly. Overall, Gas had some good punches, but they were all about Flash. The first ones were fuckin awesome, but I wanted him to come with something else in the second verse. Then Fats fuckin killed with the last 4 bars.

Battle to Fats for coming with it, flipping the whole mic quality thing, being hungrier, and fuckin smashin the last 4.

Nice minimalist feel. Techno is all about the engineering, however. What program are you usin to engineer the trax? Gotta compress it so that kick drum comes through and the "air" gets taken out of the track so people can feel the sounds as well as hear them. I would also say that more of a transition between keys at 0:56 when the piano stops and the synths come in would help the flow of the song.

Well I originally made this track to serve as a a beat track for a freestyle battle, but I got off task and It came out like this, hence the minimalist feel. I use ableton to construct my music and do all the fine tuning, I havent discovered how to really master or compress my tracks for that feel your talking about, I started making music about 6 months ago and I really only know what I have taught myself. Thanks for the review, I think ill pm you for some tips
